Light Tartar Sauce

Looking for a sauce to serve with seafood that isn't so heavy? This light tartar sauce uses plain yogurt and less mayonnaise to complement your favorite dishes!

Ingredients 

  • 6 tablespoons nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
  • 1 scallion, (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon capers, (chopped)

Instructions

  • Finely chop the scallion.

  • In a medium bowl or large jar, mix together the plain Greek yogurt, light mayonnaise, scallion, capers, and sweet pickle relish. Stir until well-combined.

Notes

This recipe is for 4 servings of tartar sauce. Each serving is 2 tablespoons.
When stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator, tartar sauce will stay fresh for at least 1 week and even as long as 2 weeks.
