Spicy Jalapeno Ham Roll Ups
Satisfy your spicy cravings with these low carb Jalapeno Ham Roll Ups! Salty, creamy with just enough heat, these little protein-filled bites are a terrific snack or party appetizer.
- 1/4 lb. ham (sliced)
- 4 oz. cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 cup canned jalapeno chiles (diced)
- 1/4 tsp. ground cumin (optional)
Lay the ham slices out on a cutting board. Blot dry with a paper towel.
Spread 2 tablespoons cream cheese over each ham slice. Sprinkle with cumin and top with 1 Tablespoon diced jalapeno chiles.
Starting at the short end, roll the ham slice up jelly-roll fashion, pressing down as you roll.
Refrigerate the rolls for about 30 minutes so the cream cheese has a chance to firm up before cutting the roll into bite-sized pieces!
Use a high quality sliced ham. Have the deli slice it on the thicker size – thinner slices make spreading the cream cheese and rolling challenging!
If not eating right away, wrap in the roll in plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator. It will stay fresh for 1-2 days.
