Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 1

Ingredients

  • 1 8-inch low carb flour tortilla
  • 2 oz. smoked salmon
  • 2 teaspoon low fat cream cheese
  • oz. red onion
  • Handful arugula
  • ½ teaspoon fresh or dried basil
  • Pinch of pepper

Instructions

  • Warm the tortilla in the oven or microwave (pro tip: Warm it between 2 pieces of moist paper towel to keep it from drying out).
  • Mix together the cream cheese, basil, and pepper, then spread it onto the tortilla.
  • Top it off with the salmon, arugula, and finely sliced onion.
  • Roll up the wrap and enjoy!

Notes

This recipe is for 1 wrap.
You can swap dried basil for finely chopped fresh basil. You can also substitute the basil with more traditional dill.
Smoked salmon wraps should be eaten the same day they are prepared and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
To prep ahead of time, finely chop the onion and mix together the cream cheese and herbs, then store in the refrigerator until you're ready to assemble your wrap.
