Dr. Frieda Wiley is an award-winning medical writer, best-selling author, speaker, and pharmacist who has written for O, The Oprah Magazine, the National Institutes of Health, American History, and WebMD.
She also spent seven years writing a quiz column for Diabetes Self-Management and has consulted for various pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer, Merck, AstraZeneca, and CSL Behring.
While Dr. Wiley has spent the past decade in the writing and consulting space, she practiced, first as a traveling pharmacist serving the rural East Texas community, and then as a clinician serving the diverse Spanish-speaking Greater New York City population.
She first discovered the world of medical writing and communications during one of several internships with the Procter & Gamble Company during pharmacy school.
