During her career, Dr. Hieronymus has served as local, regional, and national faculty for the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA). She has also served Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing as media expert and the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education as a content writer/reviewer. Additionally, Dr. Hieronymus has served on a variety of Board of Director positions in health care, academic, and national associations.
Dr. Hieronymus has authored numerous articles and publications and has also written or contributed to eight books. She has served as Editor for Practical Diabetology, Associate Editor for the nationally recognized peer-reviewed journal ADA’s Diabetes Spectrum, and editorial board/contributing editor for the national diabetes consumer magazine, Diabetes Self-Management.
