Is store-bought steak marinade keto-friendly?

When it comes to store-bought marinades, sauces, salad dressings, or condiments, you should always check your labels. You’d be amazed how many brands sneak in unhealthy ingredients.

For example, a lot of store-bought marinades are going to include way more sugar than we want. Plus, many include soy sauce, which isn’t considered strict keto.

For this recipe, we don’t use any sugar, fillers, or preservatives. Every single ingredient is there only to add flavor to your steaks! We also swap out the soy sauce for coconut aminos for a healthier marinade that’s suitable for strict keto.

Storage

This recipe makes enough marinade for 4 large steaks. If you aren’t planning to use that much, you can store the leftovers and use them to marinate more steak in the future!

The marinade should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. For best results, I recommend using within one week.
