Frozen yogurt bark with blueberries and almonds ingredients

You only need 4 simple ingredients to whip up this delicious treat!

Frozen yogurt bark ingredients on a table
  • Greek yogurt — I like to use plain, low-fat Greek yogurt for a creamy base with a boost of protein. You could also use vanilla Greek yogurt for an extra level of flavor.
  • Frozen blueberries — Add natural sweetness and a pop of flavor. Using frozen blueberries keeps the bark cold and refreshing.
  • Slivered almonds — Provide a crunchy texture plus a boost of healthy fats.
  • Honey — You can adjust the amount based on your preferences or use a low-carb sweetener instead if you prefer.

Recipe tips and tricks

  • Spread the yogurt evenly on a baking sheet to ensure it freezes evenly and breaks easily.
  • Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and make it easier to remove the bark after freezing.

Substitutions and variations

  • You can swap out the honey for a low-carb sweetener like Stevia or monk fruit if you prefer.
  • I sometimes like to switch up the berries and use raspberries or chopped strawberries instead of blueberries.
  • You can replace the slivered almonds with chopped walnuts, pecans, or even sunflower seeds for a different crunch.

What to eat with this recipe

On a hot day, I love pairing frozen yogurt bark with a refreshing drink. A watermelon smoothie is super light and always hits the spot.

Want a boost of caffeine? Try a matcha smoothie for a wonderful pick-me-up.

You could also enjoy yogurt bark with some matcha green tea ice cream!

Storage and freezing

  • Store yogurt bark in an airtight container in the freezer. It will stay fresh for several months.
  • Frozen yogurt bark won’t stay solid in the refrigerator, so I don’t recommend storing it there.
